FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some short answers to the most asked questions about my blog writing services.
Do you provide SEO blog writing?
Yes, most of the blogs I write for clients have an SEO focus. I can optimize on-page SEO by:
- Naturally using primary, secondary, and semantic keywords
- Adding internal links to other pages on your website
- Appropriately using subheadings (H2s, H3s, and H4s)
- Satisfying search intent (informational, commercial, etc.)
- Adding an optimized meta description and alt text
- Structuring content to win featured snippets or get featured in AI overviews
How long should my blogs be?
Your blog posts should be long enough to provide a complete answer to questions or get your point across. The goal should be to offer value to readers without getting too wordy.
Based on my experience, a good standard length is 1,000 words. It provides enough detail to show you’re an authority without dragging on and losing a reader’s attention.
Some other good options include:
- Short 500-800 word posts for quick answers and simple topics
- Longer 2,000 word posts when you want to present more research or provide deeper explanations, such as a complete how-to post.
I can help you determine an appropriate length if you aren’t sure how long your posts should be.
How many revisions do you offer per blog post?
I offer one round of revisions on each blog post. You can also purchase additional rounds of revisions at $50 each (or $25 each on all pieces that are 500 words or less).
Do you have a refund policy?
I have a strict no refund policy on my blog writing services. I make time in my schedule to research, write, and review pieces ordered, so I need to get paid for my time spent working.
To help reduce concerns, I like to begin with a trial blog before committing to more pieces. I’ll ask for 50% upfront on the trial, but I won’t ask you to pay the other 50% if you aren’t happy with the blog.
That’s a one-time deal. It’s the best I can do to reduce risk on your end while still ensuring I get paid something for my time.
Can you follow my style guide?
Yes, many of my clients send me branding information and style guides before we work together. Any information you can give me is helpful, so I can tailor blogs to your needs.
Can you help with SEO strategy too?
Yes, I can assist with SEO strategy at an additional fee. I can perform keyword research, create outlines, and build a content calendar so we stay on track with a clear posting schedule.
